Juvederm Ultra or Juvederm Ultra Plus are less painful than Radiesse and provide a more natural initial look but their longevity for this procedure is not the best.
Juvderm is a hyaluronic acid injection while Radiesse is a mixture of crystals of hydroxiapatite.
While hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin, conjunctiva, crystals of hydroxiapatite have a thicker consistency similar to the bone and tends to stimulate a natural collagen response where injected.

Fat Transfer and PRP are evolving as newer procedures with better results and longevity. PRP can be done complementary to fillers to prolong longevity or to decrease the swelling and inflammatory response.
